Basement Concreting Project
Site Excavation & Foundation Prep
The project began with full-site excavation and layout, preparing the trench system for the basement's perimeter and internal load-bearing walls. After excavation, we installed vertical rebar cages throughout the layout to reinforce both footings and walls. Special attention was paid to grading, compaction, and setting forms to ensure a level, structurally sound foundation that meets residential building code requirements.
Concrete Pour & Wall Forming
With rebar tied in place, we poured the concrete footings and installed heavy-duty foundation wall forms. Our team worked closely with ready-mix suppliers to ensure precise timing and flow during each pour, preventing cold joints and ensuring smooth wall finishes. Concrete was vibrated and leveled throughout the forms to eliminate voids and maximize strength. Bracing and structural supports were added to maintain wall integrity during curing.
Final Strip & Surface Preparation
After the concrete had properly cured, the forms were stripped to reveal clean, straight foundation walls ready for the next construction phase. Additional finishing work, including stair pad preps and exterior drainage runs, were handled to complete the foundation package. Whether for residential or light commercial buildings, Recinos Construction specializes in full-service concrete foundation work that sets the stage for long-term stability and success.
