Finish Project
Framing, Drywall & Moisture-Resistant Prep
This bathroom renovation started with a structural and moisture-ready foundation. We installed 20 sheets of drywall in just 2 hours, demonstrating the speed and coordination of our crew. Purple moisture-resistant drywall was used to prepare for high-humidity conditions, especially around the shower. Over the next 3 days, we applied three full coats of finishing compound, sanded the surfaces smooth, and ensured clean transitions throughout. During this phase, we also handled ventilation ducting, adjusted framing, and routed electrical for lighting and fan systems.
Shower Installation & Functional Layout
Once the walls were finished and prepped, we moved forward with installing a high-quality, pre-fabricated shower unit. It includes built-in shelving and was carefully fit to take advantage of the available space. Plumbing was reworked behind the walls to accommodate the new layout, and everything was sealed tight to avoid future moisture issues. The overhead window brings in natural light, and the layout ensures function without sacrificing comfort — even in a tighter space.
Final Finishes: Paint, Flooring & Fixtures
With walls sanded and cleaned, we applied two full coats of premium paint in just 3 hours, leaving behind a crisp, fresh finish. The flooring was upgraded with luxury vinyl planks for durability and water resistance. A floating vanity was installed alongside matte black fixtures, creating a modern, minimalistic aesthetic. The completed bathroom now reflects clean craftsmanship and thoughtful design — with every layer from sheetrock to finish paint handled in-house by the Recinos Construction & Renovation team.
