Drywalling Project
Framing Prep & Drywall Installation
This basement transformation began with careful inspection and adjustments to the framing to ensure everything was level and ready for drywall. Our team handled full drywall installation across ceilings, partition walls, utility areas, and new closet spaces. The tight spaces and complex angles, especially around the mechanical systems and old masonry walls, required precise cutting and efficient panel placement. We made sure seams were properly staggered for added strength and that drywall was securely fastened for a lasting hold.
Taping, Mud Work & Sanding
Once installation was complete, we moved into the finishing stages — applying multiple coats of joint compound across seams, corners, and fastener heads. Each layer was carefully sanded to create a smooth, even surface, ready for paint or texturing. Despite the challenges of working in an older basement with varied materials, our team maintained tight finishing lines and seamless surface transitions. The attention to detail in our mudding and sanding process ensures a flawless final appearance that will hold up beautifully over time.
